OpenVG
According to ARM, the Mali-450 supports the OpenVG API.

(see "Specification" tab)
Is it possible to include the required binaries to support OpenVG in a future Ubuntu image update?

Re: OpenVG
If it's supported the binary is already there.. all drivers are within the libMali.so blob.. there is no extra library for each driver.. set a link for libOpenVG.so (or whatever it's normally called) and point it at libMali.so, if you're lucky it will work. If not, then it's not supported.

Re: OpenVG
libMali.so does not export any of the OpenVG symbols. Additionally, libEGL does not report it as a supported API.
Sometimes vendors include a software version of libOpenVG.so, others do not compile it by default, and still others have deprecated it in newer binary blobs. The reason for the inquiry is to discover the status and whether its available upon request from Amlogic which is something only the SoC purchaser can do.

Re: OpenVG
It appears to me that OpenVG API and drivers for Mail450 are available from ARM/Armlogic, but only to direct customers. Can you share some insight on what to expect in terms of OpenVG availability for the C1?mdrjr wrote:Our current blobs do not support OpenVG.. We need to check support for that.

Hello a year ago openVG status on C1 was "need to check". Is there any changes with this question?mdrjr wrote:Our current blobs do not support OpenVG.. We need to check support for that.
