Issues with the shell?

Unread post by bort2bort » Fri Feb 14, 2020 5:03 pm

So I can't tell if something is wrong or not, but the shell when snapped together does really sit flush with each other? On the sides where the 2 halves meet it feels like it's not completely snapped together but it physically won't go any further.

Thank you!

You have to sort of push down on the clips, have a look at this video from Hardkernel at about 5 minutes in.

Yeah, I had the same problem at first when I put mine together until I realized you had to put pressure on the clips for them to catch properly. However, once you do, it's a lot harder to take it apart again, though I;ve gotten pretty good with doing it. However, the screws they give you for the back aren't that good, I've snapped two of them but thankfully in opposite corners but turns out the clips are strong enough that you don't even really need screws. All in all, I'd say really good construction. Just don't overtighten the screws. :)
