[SOLVED] Petiboot menu looks almost illegible in my new Samsung QLED Q7F 75" TV

Unread post by superpowter77 » Wed Jan 08, 2020 7:23 am

After that, it just boots and displays gorgeously for Core ELEC and Ubuntu. Is there any way to edit petiboot settings so I can make petiboot menu look better? Petiboot text menu looks very stretch out.

Vertically stretch out. Looks like CGA/EGA resolution back in 1990's. How can I fix it?

I am not sure how it does look like when stretched out.
But if it's the problem of the resolution, you could try these commands in order to change the default resolution.

1. Do "Exit to shell"
2. Run these commands to set the display resolution and save.

Code: Select all

# spimmc.sh
# fw_setenv hdmimode 720p60hz
3. Press "Ctrl-Alt-Del" to reboot

The default resolution of Petitboot is 1080p60hz and it can be changed with other resolutions supported by ODROID-N2 like 720p60hz for 1280x720 or 480p60hz for 640x480.

Code: Select all

# "480x320p60hz" | 480x320 Progressive 60Hz
# "480p60hz" | 720x480 Progressive 60Hz
