H2 does not boot with ram on lower socket

Hi
I've recently received my H2 and the board does not power up when the (single) ram stick is on the 'lower' (inner?) socket.
By 'the board does not power up' I mean that the three lights (2x blue, 1x red) stay solidly ON and there's no video out. I've restarted and reseated the memory stick repeatedly and nothing changed.
The board works perfectly fine (so far) when the ram is in the upper/outer socket. Is this a hardware issue? My provider required me to get confirmation in the forum before doing an RMA.

Have you tried updating the BIOS? There were come compatibility issues with various types of RAM, I'm not sure if it's related but worth a shot.

I have compatible ram (came with the odroid) and rev-b board, which should've the latest bios already. the stick itself is good - one of the sockets seems to be bad.

I think you have a hardware problem.
Please contact "odroid at hardkernel dot com" with a link of this post.
They will help your RMA process if you purchased the board from our web-store directly.
Otherwise, contact your local distributor/reseller.
