Connecting a bluetooth headset

Unread post by zoomix » Mon Nov 04, 2019 5:21 pm

Has anyone had any luck connecting a bluetooth headset to the odroid-n2 and getting the microphone to work?

I bought an ASUS BT400 USB adapter and it seems to be working just fine. No problems connecting either of my two headsets to it or listening to music. Microphone on the other hand, does not work. I can't record myself or make Skype calls.

Tested with (the pre-shipped) version odroid2-eng 0 prr1.180610.011 20190321 test-keys

Android Bluetooth stack does not support SCO over HCI(USB). Handsfree protocol is using SCO packets. Because of this it doesn't work on Android with USB Bluetooth modules.
For music streaming A2DP is used.
