ANYDESK 5.1.1.1 timeout after 1 minute

Unread post by att2 » Sun Oct 13, 2019 3:14 am

Hello,
Has anyone else installed Anydesk 5.1.1.1 on a Odroid C2 running the latest Ubuntu 18.04.3 ?
We have a problem with it - we reach a timeout after approx. 1 minute (always the same time) and then no matter what we do, if we run Anydesk another time it simply won't connect.
Only a reboot helps, but then, after 1 minute the Anydesk locks up.
Do you know what the source of this error could be and how to fix it ?

I don't know about the Anydesk.

My guess similar to TeamViewer, activating armhf and using the RPi build for it.
Donate to support my work on the ODROID GameStation Turbo Image for U2/U3 XU3/XU4 X2 X C1 as well as many other releases.
Check out the Games and Emulators section to find some of my work or check the files in my repository to find the software i build for ODROIDs.
If you want to add my repository to your image read my HOWTO integrate my repo into your image.

It is very hard to know what's wrong in the closed source code program.
Try VNC and check whether it still has the same problem or not.
