.config/dconf/user and backups

Post by Sebas_Ledesma »

Hi

How it's the politic of 'user' backups at ~/.config/dconf/ ?
I have these files:
user
user.049ADZ
user.ZMUEDZ
user.TCREDZ
user.BDN4CZ
Can I safely copy my config in the older files? Or delete some of them?

Sometimes the user power off my device without doing a shutdown, I want to make my system more robust placing the same configuration in the backups, thats the reason why I'm analizying how to make more robust my system (as I know allways will be an user that plug the power cord off instead of doing a proper shutdown).

Thanks in advance,
Sebas

I have no idea. I hope other people can help you.

Or, consider adapting the Squashfs(a sort of read-only file system) to make a more robust system against the sudden power-off events.
