I have a bunch an old devices including an XU, a couple XU4, and two U2s that I want to make into a cluster and am wondering what would be involved in flashing a modern ubuntu-server image to the SD Card or eMMC of these devices? Is there still a mess of custom compiling to do? I feel like ARM support in the Linux kernel has gotten a whole lot better these days. Can anyone speak to a recent experience?
