cant boot from SD-card

Hello..

im not so experienced as lots of you guys ;) but i bought an N2 with EEMC with android on and this works... when i try to boot Ubuntu from sd-card it fails.. have tried to take out the eemc and just have the sd-card but i always got " no signal from source" on the tv when i try to boot. or coming into petit boot but it doesnt helps..

any suggestions?

What exact image have you flashed to your sd and how? Is the blue led blinking?

tried armbian and ubuntu minimal image.. used balena Etcher.. Micro SDcard sandisk 128gb

Did you flash "ubuntu-18.04.3-4.9-minimal-odroid-n2-20190806.img.xz"?
You have to remove the eMMC while testing the SD card booting.
Set the slide switch to "MMC" mode without eMMC.

yes the blue led is blinking

and tried to remove eMMC
and the switch in all different positions..

should tru with a smaller sd-card

Once the blue LED was blinking, your board booted well from the SD card.
Try this Ubuntu Mate image if you need a Mate desktop GUI.

It's same like me but only the red led is light on without blue led , no signal in lcd
I tried petitiboot , it didn't helps

Can you try to boot without any cable attached except power after flipping the boot select switch to SPI?
