PySerial USB Python

Unread post by GrokWhy » Wed Jul 10, 2019 5:15 am

I'm attempting to communicate from an Arduino to the N2.

I installed pyserial with

sudo -H pip3 install pyserial

Which appeared to work and I'm now getting, Requirement already satisfied: pyserial in ...

But from the Python shell if I do import serial, I get No module named 'serial'

Suggestions?

I see if I do an lssitepackages serial (pyserial) isn't listed.

Well, I did another pip install and now it installed.

Don't know what was causing it.

Maybe you ran your code with the python2 interpreter, while having installed the python 3 module?
