Blank SD Card After Imaging

Unread post by osito » Fri Jun 14, 2019 7:15 am

Good day,

I have attempted multiple ways of imaging a uSD card with one of your android images. Compressed and uncompressed with Etcher in Windows and Linux, and uncompressed with Win32DiskImager. Both programs in both OSes show that the image wrote successfully and they verified as such.
I did check the MD5sum with the downloads and it validated the downloads of the 3 most current Android images on both OSes. I have an Exton Android image that writes correctly to an SD card, but, that is for my Pi and the N2 does not recognize it. Also, I did NOT have this problem with the Ubuntu Mate image. It imaged correctly and I was able to boot with it.
I have followed other instructions on here to full format the card with SD Card Formatter or overwriting with zeroes. Yet, every time I get a blank drive of the last format (fat32 or exfat), unallocated space, or RAW once your Android image completes.
I am using adapters on USB-C on my Win10 tablet that have a uSD slot and not an SD-uSD adapter card.
What else can be done? I want to build an Android HTPC.

The Exton stuff doesn't compatible with ODROID-N2.

Flash our latest official Android image with Etcher without uncompressing.

Note that you need a fast USH-1 micro-SD card or an eMMC to run Android smoothly.

You missed the point about citing my Exton experience. The imaging worked, your Android images (including the one you linked) have failed and I only got a blank uSD card. Yes, they are of the proper quality/speed. I used your 3 most recent Android images and have gotten the same result - a blank card.

RPi OS image is not compatible with N2 naturally.

Anyway, you can't see any file after flashing our raw OS image.
In the first boot (self-installation) process, it makes a few partitions and tons of files by itself.
Just connect your micro-SD card to the N2 and wait several minutes for the self-installation process.
The blue LED on the N2 must blink like heartbeat.
