QT : "Unable to find an X11 visual..."

Unread post by Max56 » Fri Jun 07, 2019 11:16 pm

Hello

I'm getting an issue since 1 week :

On my XU4, with latest ubuntu hardkernel image, I'm working with qt creator. It was working fine until 1 week.

But since one week :
As usual, I launch qtcreator, work on my code, compile, execute .. all is fine
After some work, I'm getting "Unable to find an X11 visual which matches EGL config 10" when I run my application
And after that I even can't start qtcreator, I'm getting the same "Unable to find an X11 visual which matches EGL config 10"

I have to flash my xu4 with a backup image to be able to relaunch qtcreator, until the next same bug occures

It's like an autoupdate or something like that was broking my install
Does someone is having the same issue and found a workaround ?

Thanks for any help, I realy need to fix that asap
Max

Try to run "es2gears".
If it doesn't work, the Mali GPU driver or soft-links could be broken by uncertain Canonical's recent Ubuntu update.
In that case, reinstall the driver manually.

Code: Select all

sudo apt install --reinstall mali-x11
