Check the deb source URL name carefully.
Ubuntu 18.04 must be Bionic not Xenial.
You can't add the 16.04 repo to the 18.04 system.

@TaikEddine,

Can you try this guide?
https://www.pyimagesearch.com/2018/08/1 ... on-ubuntu/

I have installed the opencv 4.0 on my XU4 Ubuntu 18.04.
It works well.

I think the purpose of adding repositories seems to be due to libjasper-dev.

Instead of adding repository and installing libjasper, try the below command.

Code: Select all

sudo apt install -y freeglut3-dev &&\
git clone https://github.com/mdadams/jasper.git &&\
cd jasper/build &&\
cmake .. &&\
sudo make install

I'm not really familiar with different Ubuntu versions, and Ubuntu cam pre-installed with the ODROID so I didn't add anything, what should I do in this case ?

Try "bionic-security" instead of "xenial-security" in the source.list.

I think they didn't update their packages over 5~6 years and there is no new packages for Ubuntu 18.04 or higher.
https://launchpad.net/~ninja-ide-develo ... ide-stable

As tony.hong mentioned, you might need to build the source code for the missing packages.

Okay, I really don't care that much about the ninja-ide. Actually, there is a problem with the armhf package again.
