Gamepad best selection
Hello. I have the curiosity to know what is the best and trouble free game lad to use in retropie? I heard about PS3 others PS4, etc. But I want to know the most compatible game pad to play PSONE, Dreamcast, N64, PSP and so on...

Re: Gamepad best selection
I think xbox360 pad was the most trouble free controller so far.
But other people may give you a better idea.

Re: Gamepad best selection
The "best" is very subjective I think, but as far as easy setup and compatibility goes most emulators run in RetroArch which has it's own database, and then there's standalone emulators using SDL2 which also have it's own database. If your pad is on both of these lists then it'll work:

Personally I'm very satisfied with the DS4 which is plug and play and also functions as a mouse (through X11), but then again I haven't really tried a lot of alternatives.
