XU4Q Level Shifter Shield

Unread post by dk23 » Sun May 12, 2019 1:21 am

For a project that I'm doing I need shifter shields for a couple of XU4Qs, What size standoffs should I get and headers extenders to fit over the head sink?
Or should I get a XU4. Does the shield fit over the fan?

Thanks

Consider using the header extenders.

The extenders alone will not safely support the shield, will also need standoffs.

I have to agree we need four PCB spacers(standoffs) to build a robust construction.
