multiple 2.5" SATA drives

Unread post by fvolk » Wed Apr 17, 2019 6:29 pm

So coming back to the H2 after some time due to boot issues, may I ask what's the current knowledge of attaching more than 2 SATA drives to the H2?
I'm not thinking of 3.5" drives, but only 2.5" drives, as I have a stack of those and they can be had for cheap from laptop SSD upgraders.

Any verified SATA port multiplexers? (buyable in Europe)
How many 2.5" drives the standard H2 power supply can take? Or external case+power for hosting them?

(While USB3 attached drives are also an option, my experience with C2 USB attached drives is that over long running times USB does have random dis-/reconnect problems...)
