Issues getting my first XU4 going

Unread post by ferik » Sat Apr 06, 2019 3:54 am

This is my first time using an Odroid after using Raspberry Pi for years. I've put Debian for the XU4 on an sd card, boot switch to sdcard, connected it to Ethernet, HDMI. The red and the blue light light up, fan starts spinning then the blue light turns off, then quickly blinks twice followed a few seconds later by the fan turning off then the red light.

Nothing is ever output on the TV.

Any hint for me?

See video.

pls flash this image to your sd-card ..pls use etcher to flash it.
i am asking you to re-flash your sd-card as i think that you may have corrupted the image..you need a minim of 8Gb size sd-card for ubuntu

flashing instructions here::

https://wiki.odroid.com/troubleshooting ... hing_tools

image to flash here : click the link below it will start your download
https://odroid.in/ubuntu_18.04lts/XU3_X ... 203.img.xz

then insert flasd sd-card apply power wait for the power to shut down...

The RootFS Auto-resize feature has changed!!!
Once everything is done after auto-resize, the power will turn off automatically. Wait a couple of minutes.
And press the power button if the blue LED is off.

you may have to unplug and re-plug the power

it should now boot up and the blue led should beat like a heartbeat ...

if your screen is native 1080p you should not have a problem getting it to display on the screen...

make shure your screen is set to the correct input source that you are using ...

what brand of sd-card are you using...????

check your power-supply it should be 5 volt 4 amp...
Build It And They Will Come...Be Bold And Mighty Forces Will Come To Your Aid..!!!
