How can I login to update the wiki at: https://wiki.odroid.com/start ?

The serial to USB adapter works great, but the details at the wiki for using the USB-UART Kit need some love. In particular for setting screen size, for minicom so the lines don't get truncated at 80 characters.

To solve this for GNU/Linux Debian host with bash, you can use either:

Code: Select all

$ TERM=linux  minicom odroid
TIP: A bash alias like this helps:

Code: Select all

alias minicom='TERM=linux minicom'

OR run, and then paste as follows:

Code: Select all

$ minicom odroid # Then paste this in:
stty rows 50 cols 132
Where /etc/minicom/minirc.odroid is something like this:

Code: Select all

# Machine-generated file - use "minicom -s" to change parameters.
pu pname9           YUNYNascii
pu pprog9           /usr/bin/ascii-xfr -dsv
pu port             /dev/ttyUSB0
pu downdir          /home/<your-username>/Downloads
pu rtscts           No
pu xonxoff          Yes

However this doesn't work:

Code: Select all

$ minicom --term=linux odroid

-- cheers

Due to tons of spam posts, the WiKi pages should be edited by Hardkernel members only.

Anyway, I've added your guide. Please check this page.
