gluster and nfs-ganesha

Unread post by mituller » Mon Jan 14, 2019 6:26 am

I am trying to get nfs-ganesha running on an H2 with Ubuntu. I have gluster up and going, and configured nfs-ganesha, but it isn't working. I looked at the logs, and see

:NFS STARTUP :CRIT :Could not dlopen module:/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/ganesha/libfsalshared.so Error:/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/ganesha/libfsalshared.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I checked my gcc version, and it is 7.3.0, so I tried to run gcc-7-arm-linux-gnueabihf-base and I get E: Unable to locate package gcc-7-arm-linux-gnueabihf-base

In my /etc/apt/sources.list I have

deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic main universe restricted
deb-src http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic main universe restricted

deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic-updates main universe restricted
deb-src http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic-updates main universe restricted

deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic-backports main restricted
deb-src http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic-backports main restricted

deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic-security main restricted
deb-src http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic-security main restricted
deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic-security universe
deb-src http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic-security universe
deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic-security multiverse
deb-src http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ bionic-security multiverse

Where do I find the gnueabihf packages I need to run nfs? I would think it would install everything when I install nfs-ganesha-gluster, but doesn't seem to.

Any ideas?

Do you run Ubuntu 18.04 minimal image on HC2?
In that case, a generic NFS server could be installed easily.
But I have no experience of nfs-ganesha at all.
I hope other people can help you.

Naybe the path is wrong. Can you find libfsalshared.so anywhere in your system?
