Re: attaching leds to odroid xu4
Sure, just use low amperage 5v LEDs and connect to the 5v rail

There's also the 1.8v output
*edit*
I just realized the ogst board covers the GPIO. You could solder to the back of the XU4 5v or 1.8v rail.
Or use a small USB powered LED strip

Re: attaching leds to odroid xu4
i have an old usb hub with 2 female usb ports if i desoldered them from the board (theboard takes 5v power), and stacked them soldered the pins together so they matched and then attached a male ended cable to it would that work? just curious before i destroy this board.. i dont use it but would rather keep it just incase if it wont work
edit: i took apart the hub to see about just installing the board in the case but its useless as it is right now, itll chage my phone fine but if i plug a flash drive in it wont read it.... might just try and remove 2 usb ports and try it out

Strange I attached my leds to a USB cable
And plugged it in no light. I tried putting wires directly on the 5v and ground gpio pins and still nothing
