Hello Odroid World!

Unread post by 1GLENCo » Fri Jan 04, 2019 9:01 pm

I snatched a pair of HC2s from Amazon before I ran out of $. I'm planning on building a bitcoin lightning node, or die trying. I was able to log in at one point, but I hopelessly locked myself out when I screwed something up when setting up passwordless ssh keys. I've reflashed my SDHC with ubuntu-16.04.3-4.14-minimal-odroid-xu4-20171213.img.xz and am hoping I can eventually get back in. I'll likely figure it out eventually... I have yet to even search these forums at all. Just sayin hey is all for now.

Reattempting flashing of the 8GB micro SDHC card, this time using Etcher with https://odroid.in/ubuntu_18.04lts/ubunt ... 203.img.xz as the image. I noticed the flashing process is much slower this time around... hopefully that's a good sign.

Hooray!!! Progress has been made... I can now see "odroid" in my DHCP table of my AnonaboxPro.

For anyone who happens to be in the same boat as me, definitely try flashing using https://www.balena.io/etcher/!
