android extended partition

Unread post by thejck » Thu Nov 29, 2018 12:13 am

i have install android on my 8gb emmc and have increased size of boot partition. so I can put libreelec kerne/system/boot.ini files etc.
i am wondering if its possible to change the default partition structure of android.
Can i add an extended partition and move android data parrtition to a logical partition so I can add a 5th parition for libreelec rootfs?

will this break the android OS or update process?
i have read one comment where it seems andoid update looks for android data partition in particular location

He also had some scripts that predate the universal installer that let you convert a running android install into multiboot. This way you can install opengapps on android first and then convert it to multiboot.
