New XU4 won't boot

Just got a ODROID-XU4 (G143452239825) and an 16GB eMMC Module XU4 Linux (G140471342523). Using 'Etcher' (on macOS) I have flashed the Ubuntu 18.04 Minimal image (ubuntu-18.04-4.14-minimal-odroid-xu4-20180531.img.xz) onto the eMMC. With the USB-UART connected I get endless loops of this:

Downloaded the Ubuntu image one more time and flashed it onto a MicroSD card I had laying around: same result :-(

Note 1: Only the USB-UART is attached to the XU4 when I'm doing this.

Note 2: Currently I'm using a 5V PSU that (claims) to be rated at 3A (waiting for a more powerfull PSU to arrive from China).

On CON10, between pin 1 and 2, I have measured these min/max values over a couple of minutes:

MIN: 4.902V
MAX 5.102V

Are you using official power supply 5Volt / 4A output for Odroid XU4. I had similar issue with HC1 when I plug in wrong power supply.
