ir-keytable non-functional on 18

Unread postby rooted » Sat Jul 14, 2018 1:04 am

Something has changed in Ubuntu 18.04 that doesn't allow ir-keytable to function the way it did previously.

With a standard configuration for the Hardkernel remote the button presses are registering but not actually doing anything.

I am attempting to diagnose why.

ir-keytable isn't a daemon, it writes a table to kernel memory AFAIK so nothing to follow.

I did try though.

It works exactly as it should except the key presses don't do anything.
