Unable to locate package linux-image-xu3

Unread post by juagicre » Tue Jul 10, 2018 3:54 pm

Hi there,

I got an Odroid HC1 with an SD card and an 512 GB SSD.
I got installed the latest ubuntu on it: ubuntu-18.04-4.14-mate-odroid-xu4-20180501.img.xz.

I am following the steps described in this link: https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid-xu4/soft ... _webserver (note: maybe those steps are outdated?) in order to move the OS installation to the SSD, instead of having the SD card in use. Many people recommends it to improve the server performance.

The problem I hit is at the step where I have to install the linux-image-xu3, just after the sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
The result is:

E: Unable to locate package linux-image-xu3

How important is this step to continue with the guide?
I could paste the output from the previous step if any of you want to check the output for further analysis.

You don't need to install linux-image-* manually from Ubuntu 18.04.
dist-upgrade should be enough to update the kernel.
