boot.ini location

Unread post by additude » Thu Jul 05, 2018 8:17 pm

I have Android running on an emmc and I am trying to edit the boot.ini.

I need to change the display resolution.

Can I change the boot.ini like I do in Ubuntu?

Do I need to remove the emmc and edit it on my Windows Laptop?

I want to avoid that if possible.

I have SManager installed but I am unable to locate boot.ini

Thanks.

You can, if you have eMMC adaptor then can modify in PC. The file is located in FAT file system. It would be more easiser than XU4.

So you are telling me that to get to the boot.ini, I need to read the emmc FAT partition with the emmc out of the machine?

Thanks.

It would be more convenient to change it other than edit it in Android shell.
