Raspberry Pi, Odroid-VU7 and Volumio2

Unread postby abasel » Thu Jun 14, 2018 4:00 pm

Hi

I cannot get the touch to work with by VU7 on a Raspberry PI running Volumio2. It apparently has something to do with the drivers. Could someone please help me to work out how to resolve this? It's a little beyond me.

You have to learn how to modify/build the kernel driver source code on the RPI Volumio 2 OS image first.
Since we don't use RPi, nobody can help you directly.

Hi

That makes sense. Where do I find the relevant driver for this screen, or am I asking the wrong question?

Thanks :)

Vu7/Vu7+/Vu5 use a customized USB-raw driver.
So you have to port this device driver.
https://github.com/hardkernel/linux/blob/odroidxu4-4.14.y/drivers/input/touchscreen/dwav-usb-mt.c

Here is an example of porting to the RaspberryPi Kernel.
