HC2 SMART

Unread post by x3kcl » Wed Jun 13, 2018 11:47 am

I just got my set of HC2 and I wonder if it would be possible to activate smart some how, at the moment smartctl returns

Code: Select all

root@odroid:~# smartctl -i /dev/sda
smartctl 6.6 2016-05-31 r4324 [armv7l-linux-4.14.43-138] (local build)
Copyright (C) 2002-16, Bruce Allen, Christian Franke, www.smartmontools.org

/dev/sda: Unknown USB bridge [0x152d:0x0578 (0x3101)]
Please specify device type with the -d option.

Use smartctl -h to get a usage summary
on the ubuntu 18.04 image.

-> EDIT: Just saw that this works:

Code: Select all

root@osdh01:~# smartctl -i /dev/sda -d sat
smartctl 6.6 2016-05-31 r4324 [armv7l-linux-4.14.47-139] (local build)
