New here

Hey new guy here, I'm getting a c2 giving to me from my cousin today. I'm pretty excited to see what I can make it to after seeing some videos and reading some threads it looks pretty awesome.

Anyway I was curious if the n64 case for the XU4 would be able to fit the c2? Tried searching but couldn't find anything on that idea.

Thanks.

no the mounting points are different from the C2 and XU4 and even IF the C2 would fit, the ribbon cable used for the Display is made specifically for the XU4 and won't work with the C2.

How different are the mounting points? Cause I could really care less if the screen worked. I can't find any interesting cases for the c2.

Very different.. all the connectors, HDMI, Power, SD-Card, LAN, etc are in different places and it wouldn't match up.
The case has enough space to put the C2 inside, but it would be like a shoe-box just a box around the ODROID with no functionality whatsoever.
The best thing you can hope for is that the 4 USB ports on the front would work, but connected to one USB port of the C2 which is not very good in matters of performance.
And once again, none of the notches would fit and you would have to break out your own.
I don't see the point in it.

Ok fair enough, thanks for the response.

I have another question

I'd like to run a dual boot system with Kodi and be able to run emulators for games is a 16emmc enough or should I spring for the 32.

Also thinking I should go with the Android pre loaded one.

It's not compatible, not only because the sizes/layouts are different, but also because the board that houses the lcd expects to communicate at 1.8V with the odroid, while the C2 uses 3.3V
