Mount var and home

Mount var and home

Hi, what is the best momenta to remount var and home to some partitions other than rootfs?

Mounting of partitions usually happens as part of init. Depending upon which init is being used changes how that's achieved. Since you're posting in Ubuntu, you're probably using systemd. Check its manpages to see how systemd handles filesystem mounts.

Most systems usually honor the fstab file, so that's also a good place to start.

Thanks! Obviously init / upstart / systemd man would help. Wondering do you have some experience with buildroot? Per my understanding it use busybox by default
