Audio out question

Unread postby Baddabing » Thu May 31, 2018 2:59 am

Hi everyone

First post - and very new to all of this - been doing some research and am interested in building an Android device for my 16 year old car.

I've seen a schematic for the same device in the same model of car that shows an audio out from the Odroid C2 that connects to my car's radio/amp - in BMW terms what's called a BM54. This has the ability to take an Aux In for sound from an external device.

Looking at the schematic for the C2 I can't see how this was done - I need the HMDI out to connect to my touchscreen.

Can anyone help me understand if this is possible - ideally I'd like a lead with 3.5mm jack from the C2 into my car's speaker system.

Thanks BB

You can use an inexpensive USB sound card for this, the one HK sells is fine.
