Removed linuximage. How to fix?

Unread postby alpe » Fri May 18, 2018 12:35 am

I was upgrading things on my C1 and a warning appeared about removing it, since it was being currently used. But since linux-image-c1 was part of the upgrade I thought it was normal and that it was going to rebuild later.
Rebooted and nothing.
I don't have any video output on the C1, I can only access it via ssh.
I plugged the SD card on my pc. There's something I can do from it?

What happens if you run "sudo apt install linux-image-c1" from SSH terminal?

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough about that. What I mean is that I don't have any display plugged into it, and normally can only access it via ssh. But after this not even that, since boot was not happening.
I ended up backing up the sdcard to my pc (using a card reader) and flashing the original image again. Spent the entire day making everything be as it was before.

I tried this (as sugested in https://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=112&t=30895#p222913):
wget http://deb.odroid.in/c1/pool/main/l/lin ... _armhf.deb
mkdir kern
dpkg-deb -R linux-image-3.10.107-192_20180212_armhf.deb kern/

But with no success.

First of all, make a backup first.

It is not easy to know which system files/partitions could be corrupted.
