Proper Hifishield2 Modules/drivers Odroid C2

Unread post by Osdieman » Tue May 15, 2018 8:36 pm

Hi All friends..
My question... wil there ever be proper hifishield2 modules/driver available with in LibreElec/CoreElec for the odroid C2 + Hifishield2.?

i have also a raspberry pi3 with Allo Boss DAC and there all works out of the box and properly... Also Libreelec is showing the DAC in audio settings..
Right now i can only use the full potential of the DAC with volumio2 image..

Best regards Osdieman.

This isn't an official LibreELEC forum, we can't answer that question unfortunately.

Your best bet would be to ask for an official answer over there.

That makes no sense, Hardkernel doesn't maintain a LibreELEC build.

Hardkernel also doesn't say the HiFi Shield/2 is supported in LibreELEC.

I know you just want it to work, I have one myself and would like the same thing. But unfortunately it doesn't and won't without someone making it happen. I think @Raybuntu has tried previously, maybe?

I don't think Hardkernel has sold enough to dedicate the necessary time trying to find a solution to it currently.

Cheers
