Some issues with the network

Unread postby RobZ » Mon Jan 25, 2016 4:38 pm

Hello!
I got my C1+ a month ago, installed arch on it and it runs great but I get a lot of thees in dmesg:
Code: Select all
TCP checksum Error rx desc-mask[4096]

Sometimes it doesn't happen at all whole day, but other days there are more than 100 of them.
I cannot find any explanation on the Internet about this message. The network runs fine most of the time, but also had this twice so far:
Code: Select all
Jan 10 17:56:18 alarm systemd-networkd[201]: eth0: Lost carrier
Jan 10 17:56:18 alarm systemd-networkd[201]: eth0: DHCP lease lost

Don't know if this is a coincidence but the second time it happend exactly a week later, at almost the same time. :shock:
And in dmesg:
Code: Select all
[Jan17 17:56] [adjust link -> eth: am_adjust_link state change (new_state=true)
[  +0.001780] libphy: 0:01 - Link is Down

[  +0.000047] [adjust link] -> eth: phy_speed <> priv_speed)
[  +0.004687] [adjust link -> eth: am_adjust_link state change (new_state=true)
[  +0.007374] libphy: 0:01 - Link is Up - 1000/Full
[Jan17 17:57] [adjust link -> eth: am_adjust_link state change (new_state=true)
[  +0.001779] libphy: 0:01 - Link is Down
[  +1.998235] [adjust link] -> eth: full-duplex
[  +0.000047] [adjust link] -> eth: phy_speed <> priv_speed)

I thought this could be an issue with the arch, so installed a debian from the other thread. But the TCP checksum error happened during the first boot, as soon as the network was initialized.
