Re: Problem with Firefox
How did that happen? Did you update Firefox package, or just started happening all of a sudden?

Re: Problem with Firefox
And which OS image do you have installed? The official Ubuntu from Hardkernel Wiki?

Re: Problem with Firefox
Do you get a window to create a new profile?
You can try to rename ~/.firefox as ~/.firefox.old and firefox will recreate it on start.

Re: Problem with Firefox
With a new user started right, but begin update.
Updated so long, that Odroid stoped working.
It is not possible to get working, text is only blinking not possible write password.
Now I must take off eMMC and try with adapter and an other linux open its files and save.
Perhaps my story is difficult understand.
I had once before problem and with adapter was possible save files.

Re: Problem with Firefox
Is there a possibility to use a newer system image? You're using Ubuntu 18 which is quite old. The newest image available for Odroid C2 is Ubuntu 20:
https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid-c2/os_images/ubuntu/v4.1
Perhaps it will be more stable.

I must do all again to my eMMC 128GB.
I try find old traces.
Must I format first the eMMC ?

Re: Problem with Firefox
No need to format, just flash the new image on top of the card with etcher. Make sure to save whatever you need from the card before.

Re: Problem with Firefox
Firefox worked fine when we built that 20.04 OS image last year.
I think Canonical or Mozilla might break their aarch64 Firefox build recently.
Did you update the system and Firefox worked fine before system updates?

Re: Problem with Firefox
No, I updated before Firefox starting.
Now I have the image on Micro Sd cart and firefox is working fine.
Not updatet.
I must re-burn to the eMMC.

Re: Problem with Firefox
Im having same problem with the Firefox browser. Firefox browsers starts (I can see the firefox window opening) and right after few seconds the window will be just closed.
Im running odroid's official ubuntu 20 (VERSION="20.04.5 LTS (Focal Fossa)"), I have did all the sudo update, upgrade, dist-upgrade, etc.
@MjODF:
Was your fix just to ignore the Firefox update?
@odroid:
Any official help/fix for this issue on your side?
