Hi
I am looking through Rockchip BSP kernel source, in particular at a kernel driver called TOUCHSCREEN_GSL3673_800X1280.
I think that this is a basically a preconfigured fork or version of TOUCHSCREEN_GSL3673, probably with different firmware, but basically the same driver.
In the textual description it says something like "RK3326 touchscreen" (sorry I don't remember exactly).
I believe that the RK3326 was used in some Hardkernel devices, and I think that the same driver is re-used in later Rockchip devices as well which may or may not be in Hardkernel devices.
My questions are:-
A: were/are there any Hardkernel devices that used the GSL3673 touchscreen?
B: did these devices touchscreen devices work with generic Linux (like Ubuntu or something)?
C: which xorg input driver did they use?
D: Has anyone got a known good xorg.conf for such a device?
thanks
GSL3673 touchscreen and xorg (maybe Rockchip only)?

No. ODROID-Go Advance and Super devices don't have any touchscreen.
Therefore, we have no answer for what you are asking.

Thank you for replying.
I notice that in the kernel source for the M1 there appears this new driver:-
Symbol: TOUCHSCREEN_DWAV_USB_MT │
Prompt: ODROID-Vu5/Vu7+ series multi touch driver
However that's a different device to the one that is causing me trouble.

Are you looking for a device with GL3673 or a kernel that enables the driver for GL3673?dieselnutjob wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 10:46 amThank you for replying.

He has his own designed RK3326 based board which has a GSL3673 touchscreen controller probably.
I think it is not directly related to the ODROID boards at all.

Re: GSL3673 touchscreen and xorg (maybe Rockchip only)?
Correct. I have a device which is not an ODROID device, and it has a GSL3673 touchscreen controller.
I have found that the kernel that works best so far is a Hardkernel one.
The problem that I am having is that Android works with this touchscreen, but xorg does not.
Maybe this touch controller has never been used with xorg

Anyway, I also understand that if the GSL3673 is not used in an ODROID device then that makes my
question off topic of this forum.
