ogst lcd screen woes

managed to fumble my way through getting the image sorted and a bunch of roms but cannot seem to get the lcd screen to activate.
trying the logo.sh script i get these messages...

Note, selecting 'mplayer2' instead of 'mplayer'
mplayer2 is already the newest version.

sadly you need mplayer (mplayer1) to address the lcd display. But mplayer1 is no longer available it seems.
mplayer2 does not offer the same features and can't be used for the same purpose.

thats kinda weird as this was built using your jessie image @meveric

yes.. it was using mplayer from deb-multimedia, but deb-multimedia package for jessie were discontinued.
I'm currently looking if I can backport mplayer from Debian Stretch to Debian Jessie on my own images.
Donate to support my work on the ODROID GameStation Turbo Image for U2/U3 XU3/XU4 X2 X C1 as well as many other releases.
Check out the Games and Emulators section to find some of my work or check the files in my repository to find the software i build for ODROIDs.

ok, I was able to backport mplayer 1.30 from Debian Stretch to Debian Jessie and are uploading it right now to my repository.
With that it should work again.

lovely jubbly :D Thanks man.
All i need to do now is figure out my rom browser issues. seems it doesn't like my speedy usb drive with 28,000 files in the roms directory :shock:
