Having grown up as a sort of adrenaline junkie rib injuries are nothing new. A little over a year ago I swear I tore the meat off one on my side, worst rib pain I've ever had. A couple days ago I bumped the same spot and it hurts just as bad as last year.

Yeah, that's what's odd. I did the usual last year, ace bandage, 6-8 weeks (took more like 10 to feel better) and it's been fine since.
Then Wednesday I remember bumping it on something and the following morning it was excruciating.

You should have that looked at at your next revision... When I fell off a chair a couple of months ago (I was an idiot, using a chair with wheels to reach somd lego on top of a drawer), my wife sent me to get an examination (luckly they didn't examine my head
