Voltage range support HC4

Post by hugo11 »

Hello,

What is absolute voltage range supported for HC4? 15V seems really not standard and I would rather use a UPS12V power for the system.

Thanks.

If you're using 3.5" HDDs, 12V might not be enough. If you're using 2.5" disks or ssds, then 12V should be fine.

I'm going for 2.5" disks. Thanks for the info.

Luckly 2.5" disks typically don't use the 12V power rail, so that's why you can get away with it :)
