Design Upgrades/Necessities For The Next Odroid Go Ultra
Most Importantly would be to fix the location of the USB-C/USB-A Ports. Currently They Are To Close To Eachother And Some USB Accessories May Interfere With Charging(Example: Wireless Dongle W/ Antenna) @odroid

We've tested several different wifi adapters and there was no serious interference with a charging cable.

I'm not sure if the photos will work but hopefully does. As you can see they are so close the ports don't align straight for them to fit. Some future design changes for next model would remedy

Lol, what's the model number for this WiFi stick or chipset if you know.....this is my first time seeing one with an antenna going to the side. I was not expecting that. I have a few EDUP sticks.
If I say something that sounds smart or like i know what i'm talking about....i'm faking it.

Thank you for the pictures and I understood what you meant.
But it is hard to find a right place to rearrange the connectors since some other WiFi adapters might have an antenna in a different way.

Perhaps the power port could be on the bottom and that would free up some space around the usb port. I just thought this would be a good change for the next model and usb drives come in all kinds of shapes and forms(I have a star wars one that is large)

Instead of a single board with CPU,GPU,RAM.and all the peripherals it could be a peripheral board that a very small CPU,GPU,RAM board plugs onto.
Getting Odroid back into the battery powered maker market now that C0 is gone and establishing a form factor that has the potential to be upgraded in various directions.

Well this is my remedy for now. Stinks I had to buy some adapters but I am confident in hard kernel taking suggestions seriously and hope next model avoids this issue by moving the power input to bottom or just not so close to the usb.hardknoxni69a wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 5:58 am

It would be nice to see an odroid "compute module", since so many companies design devices around hardkernel products I have to imagine it would be very popular.L67GS wrote:Instead of a single board with CPU,GPU,RAM.and all the peripherals it could be a peripheral board that a very small CPU,GPU,RAM board plugs onto.

I can already see 3D printer, game device, advanced audio, NAS, home automation, and other carrier boards.

Yeah, something crazy like a 40 pin header on a rectangular board.

Re: Design Upgrades/Necessities For The Next Odroid Go Ultra
Seriously though, two 40 pins really would get it done. Figure 40 pin traditional header, and a second with HDMI, power/ground, and a few USB's.
