I flashed the 2-24 release of Mate on two different SD cards with Win32 Disk Imager. Each time when the N2 boots up after a few seconds my monitor
goes to sleep with no signal, tried on two different screens.
The same setup with coreelec on the emmc works great. Not sure what the problem is.

On the fat partition that holds the the boot files (which is the first partition) edit the boot.ini and this:
disable it like:
Also make sure to set a proper resolution for your display on:
Code: Select all
setenv display_autodetect "true"
Code: Select all
setenv display_autodetect "false"
Code: Select all
setenv hdmimode "1080p60hz"

Thank you. I had not updated petiboot since June and it apparently had issues with certain SD cards. Fired right up after I updated petiboot.

Can you let me know the version of the Petitboot you installed and model of your display?
Thank you.

My monitor is LG 32GK650F-B.
I had petiboot from 6-19, just updated to 2-24 version. Working great now.

I have the same problem. But there is no boot.ini located anywhere - it does not exist. Also, why is the boot partition not mounted by default? it makes it really difficult to edit these settings.

boot.ini is in the first partition and you can easily find it out when you attach the memory card to your PC. Also, in Ubuntu, it's mounted to '/media/boot'.
