Charging with my ZTE phone charger?

Unread post by ducadan » Tue Mar 17, 2020 1:59 pm

I have a similar model of https://allegro.pl/oferta/ladowarka-zte ... 7836145663; the 3rd picture shows the specs. Will it work to use it for odroid go advance? Any risks?

If its default output voltage is 5Volt, it will work.
But that charger seems to have only 1Amp output current which takes longer time or incomplete charge.
Consider using other 5Volt charger which output current is 2Amp or higher since the OGA charging current is 1.5Amp.

thx. And what about USB charging; do you recommend USB 2.0 or USB 3.1gen1 or 3.1gen2. Those are the ones i have. Does it make any diference? The last recharge i did was from a 3.1gen1(from my pc) and it took more then usual(the device was off). Strange

There will be no difference.
I think your PC USB ports might have a current limitation at 900mA or something like that.
3 hours should be enough for a pseudo-full (near 90%) charge if the charger output current is higher than 1.5Amp.
