Soldering Wifi / BT inside OGA

Unread post by washo4evr » Tue Mar 10, 2020 8:53 am

Hi guys,

I ordered https://www.ebay.com/itm/DIY-Micro-Nano ... 4596733167 and I'm now thinking which wifi dongle and BT dongle would be best, given the size constraints.
I'm thinking about getting https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Mini-Wir ... B07PB1X4CN but still unsure if this is supported by OGA or not.
Any suggestions for the BT dongle?

I will update this thread once I received the tiny hub

Thanks

I've never seen a working Bluetooth adapter yet.
Did you find a BT configuration menu on the Emulation-Station or RetroArch GUI?

BTW, what do you want to do with the Bluetooth connection?

I was thinking about using BT if I ever a 2nd controller

In Batocera, controllers settings, you can pair a BT controller

I can confirm that BT is working with a cheap adapter plugged into the usb port and a Moga 2 controller (including all triggers, analog sticks...)

I'm using the BT dongle that I ran with my Odroid Xu4. Got it from Ameridroid. https://ameridroid.com/products/usb-blu ... 8e41&_ss=r

Can use this with Batocera and run an Xbox controller with ease.

These are popular and dirt cheap.

ESP32 are the best.
I have several "Arduino" projects using them

Looking forward to having an ESP32 in my OGA. There is another thread on that topic
