N2 + 3.5inch Touchscreen Shield

Unread post by nl.smart » Tue Feb 25, 2020 7:55 pm

Hi,

Is it possible to plug a 3.5inch Touchscreen Shield on the N2 with the N2 case ? Or I need a special case, like the C2 ?

Thanks for your answer,

have a good day,

You need a 40-pin header extender something like this.

The page for that 3.5" touchscreen says something about needing an RTC shield. Is that required, or is the screen and the extender enough to get this working with the N2?

I assume I could also use some sort of 40-pin cable, if I didn't want to put it right on top of the N2?

The N2 has an RTC feature on the board. So you can ignore the RTC-Shield. It was designed for the C2.
