H2 fan and HC2 racks

Unread post by roblfr » Fri Aug 02, 2019 4:08 pm

Hello all,

I recently bought some 92x92x25mm DC Cooling Fan w/ PWM, Speed Sensor (Tacho) while shopping my H2 =), to equip my 2x HC2 with a bit of cooling. Now I see it has that 4 pin connector which I would like to connect to USB and just plug into one of the HC2s . Since I have little clue, even less after researching the web - is it Molex Picoblade? Or is it something else? Worst case I just plug it onto some Atmel plus separate power device, but that makes creating a 2 stack rack even more complicated.

I think you had to buy this one.

Instead of this item.

If you connect a level-high to the PWM input of the 4pin connector with proper power connection, the fan motor might run continuously.

Ah, thanks a lot. That item was not yet available with my german vendor, so I gotta work with what I have. Back to case design :)
