GPU driver
any chance x11 driver for ubuntu mate? i know supported in minimal image, can i use minimal image with gpu supported driver and convert to desktop mate?

There is currently no acceleration for x11. Crashoverride is working on something, though,

Its important to make clear that ARM has dropped support for X11 on ALL their new GPUs. This affects every product that comes to market based on one of their newer GPUs. It is not an issue specific to ODROID N2.

That is true but not the whole truth. @crashoverride: Is your work on jem something that later could be extended for other non-amlogic boards that have the same class of gpu, or is your implementation amlogic specific?

It remains to be seen. If I use GE2D (hardware blitter), then its Amlogic specific. It is certainly possible at this point to have a generic implementation, though.
