I could find two entries in your "mount" outputs and it seems to be a reason why there are two icons.

Code: Select all

/dev/sda1 on /media/odroid/C525-083F type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,uid=1000,gid=1000,fmask=0022,dmask=0022,codepage=437,iocharset=iso8859-1,shortname=mixed,showexec,utf8,flush,errors=remount-ro,uhelper=udisks2)
/dev/sda1 on /media/usb0 type vfat (rw,nodev,noexec,noatime,nodiratime,uid=1000,gid=1000,fmask=0022,dmask=0022,codepage=437,iocharset=iso8859-1,shortname=mixed,showexec,utf8,flush,errors=remount-ro)
I think "usb-mount" or "udev" seems to have a wrong configuration. But I have no idea how to fix it without negative side effect.
I hope other users can help us.

I have this issue as well, my drive gets automatically mounted twice at /media/usb0 and /media/username/volumename.
I checked the udev rules and seems like there's a redundant automount rule in there, so both udev and the desktop environment will try to mount the media. Sometimes it will succeed, sometimes it'll just pop up an error message telling you the drive it's already mounted at /media/usb0.

The solution is to simply delete the offending rule file (the desktop environment will still auto-mount the media anyway):

Code: Select all

sudo rm /lib/udev/rules.d/90-usbmount.rules
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules
sudo udevadm trigger
