[HOWTO] Tutorial on using Kodi and Advanced Mame Launcher for Mame on ODroid XU4

Post by yimyom » Mon Apr 29, 2019 8:17 pm

Hi,

I've made a tutorial on how to install Kodi, AML and Mame on Odroid XU4. It'll take you step by step from a new machine to a fully functional media center.
You can read it here: https://github.com/yimyom/odroid-xu4-setup

Feel free to contribute, fork, use and reuse, comment and even donate if you wish to support my work.
And of course, do not hesitate to contact me to ask questions and offer suggestions.

Happy Odroiding,
David

Hi David

Nice tutorial. I have only recently acquired an XU4 and was running through the various steps you had outlined. Everything went fine up to the point where I went to run glmark2 after gl4es was installed. It had the following errors and wouldn't launch.

LIBGL: glX Will try to recycle EGL Surface
LIBGL: Current folder is:/home/odroid
Error: glXChooseFBConfig() failed
Error: Error: Couldn't get GL visual config!
Error: main: Could not initialize canvas
LIBGL: Shuting down

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Thanks

Jeffrey
