The Android TV article in the February 2017 issue of ODROID Magazine at https://magazine.odroid.com/wp-content/ ... 201702.pdf may help you with programming the keys.

Edit: Article is at https://magazine.odroid.com/article/and ... o-netflix/

Are you sure this is the rigth issue of the ODROID Magazine? In this one has the triple/dual boot, but didn't find anything abou remote control. My receiver control works with libreElec after I did the scan with Lirc 2 years ago. Now I want to know if I can use this Lirc configuration file to change the "remote.conf" file inside \system\etc?
How can I make Android learn the keys from my receiver remote?

wifi network not detected

Post by marcavatar »

Good evening, I installed Android Marshmallow 6.0.1, once loaded everything does not detect the wifi network, does not see anything, I have a Cudy WU1200 AC1200Mbps stylus https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07QD1MZHH/ref= ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01? ie = UTF8 & th = 1
with coreelec it detects it without problems but here it cannot see it. Do I need to configure anything? thanks

You will need to install an auxiliary driver for your wifi dongle since this build of Android doesn't include it. This involves finding the driver for your device and recompiling the kernel to include it. Other forum users may be able to explain how to install it using a different method that doesn't involve recompiling, but without doing research into that particular brand of dongle, it will probably be easier to either hard-wire the device or purchase a supported dongle from Ameridroid or Hardkernel.

Thanks for the reply, I found the drivers on a diskette but I don't know what I have to insert and where, there is someone who has had the same problem and has solved, because sincerely going to buy another wifi device when mine is great at least on coreelec seems to me too much.

Your issue is similar to the thread at viewtopic.php?t=26887, which, as I mentioned, requires a kernel rebuild on another PC. Hopefully another forum user will be able to help you through the steps. As a start, can you post the names of the Linux driver files that you found on the accompanying disk?

If the device works on CoreELEC chances are it's already supported in the kernel.

I would jump on Hardkernel GitHub and request they be enabled in Android.

Hi, maybe you can open the configuration list and enable my device? There is the possibility or you can find out about the configuration of coreelec where it works perfectly I even have the option to choose 2.4 or 5 gz you see them both.
