HC2 doesn't boot [solved]

Unread post by qwertztest » Sun Jul 22, 2018 5:11 am

My new HC2 does not boot. I just opened the packet it came in. I I tried several different images, I load them on different micro SD cards using etcher. And when I put the card in and then connect the power plug, it doesn't boot. There is only the constant red light, the green light for about 1 second and no blue light at all. The blue light is never on. It does not blink or anything.
What can I do about it?
Edit: Found the problem used an image for the c1 or c2.the Images for the xu4 and the hc's are not under odroid in source forge but under omv 4.x for single board computers.

OMV_3_0_88_Odroidc1_3.10.107.img
ubuntu-18.04-3.16-minimal-odroid-c2-20180626.img
I found them through the offical wiki and the offical guides
And the blue light should still do something even if it were the wrong image, right?

Put that on I think think works now
Just downloaded an older version of ubuntu ubuntu-16.04-minimal-odroid-xu3-20160706.img and now it blinks.
It has no display, so I also tried OMV, which is what I intend to install. It does nothing at first, no blue light or it takes very long. But atleast know that my odroid works.

You have to choose an image with the device type in the name.
